Joe Corona’s presentation will include discussion of general emergency preparedness, disaster preparation, hazards specific to Montgomery County, and family notification systems and Alert Montgomery. He will discuss the options of sheltering in place or evacuation, including what it will take to do either one at a moment’s notice. Participants will be shown how to stay informed, write a plan, build a kit and get involved. Joe will also provide resources to attendees so that they can continue their emergency planning process. This event is presented by Little Falls Village, Bannockburn Neighbors Assisting Neighbors, & Bethesda Metro Area Village in collaboration with Little Falls Library.
