American Stories Virtual Tour National Gallery of Art
Friday, July 8, 10:30-11:30 AM
American art can tell complex stories about America’s history and its identity as a nation. On this virtual tour, we’ll explore selected works from the National Gallery of Art’s American collection. We’ll consider their artistic features, their historical context, and the multiple stories they tell from colonial times to the early 20th century. Estelle Quain, a National Gallery docent and FHNN member, will lead us on this Zoom tour.
ZOOM DOCENT TOUR: SPACE IS LIMITED.
TOUR IS FOR LFV AND FHNN MEMBERS & VOLUNTEERS ONLY. The Zoom login information will be sent to confirmed registrants.
