About this event

The Power of Food explores the fascinating connection between what we eat, our health, and the health of our planet. Led by LFV member Jane DeMarines, Executive Director of Sustainable Earth Eating, the program will take a closer look at how our food choices—particularly meat consumption—affect climate change, while also exploring the potential health benefits of incorporating more plant-based foods into our diets. Jane will share practical, approachable ideas for reducing our food-related carbon footprint, and the program will include a hands-on cooking segment featuring simple plant-based recipes. Come learn something new, share your own experiences, and discover a few delicious ways our everyday food choices can make a difference for both our health and the planet!
