About this event
Female artists and their work from the renowned Getty Museum will be showcased in this online tour. Some of the names are familiar such as Artemisia Gentileschi, Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun and Dorothea Lange, but how about Maria Sybilla Merian or Luisa Roldan? We will take a look at their lives and works in the Getty Collection. The experienced docent leading this program, Docent Lee Rubinstein, holds dual degrees in English and History with a minor in Art History.
